Loose Photos: Pre War
A large number of photos, newspaper and magazine clippings, and documents, were stored loose between two pages of the scrapbook. I have not tried to sort the scrapbook into chronological order. Wbat you get in this blog is a series of pictures and other items in the order as they exist today within the spines of the scrapbook. Empty photo mounting corners on other pages showed where some of the photos had been.
The End Of The Album
this is the last set of photos from Mom's WWII album Martha and Ralph, 1942 Ralph was one of Dad's Army buddies and our two families continued to visit throughout my childhood. Martha and Ralph had three boys, all a bit older than me. And I have liked boys pretty much my whole life. Definitely interested in Martha and Ralph's boys by the time I was 5, when we drove up to New Hampshire to visit them. I remember many details of the trip very clearly. The motel (and motels were a brand new thing then) with individual tiny cottages instead of rooms. The summertime ski lift ride up the mountain. Those boys and their active outdoor life focused around mud and small animals. Carole Elizabeth Ferguson. 3 months. August 1943 I have no idea who this baby is.
