Photos of Occupied Japan

Dad was stationed in Utsonomya, Japan with the Army of Occupation.

All of these photos were secured with photo mounting corners.  I took two of them out of the corners to look at the names on the back.  This caused some harm to the photos so I quit.

The color images were postcards.

A large number of photos, newspaper and magazine clippings, and documents, were stored loose between two pages of the scrapbook. I have not tried to sort the scrapbook into chronological order.  Wbat you get in this blog is a series of pictures and other items in the order as they exist today within the spines of the scrapbook. Empty photo mounting corners on other pages showed where some of the photos had been.
