The End Of The Album
this is the last set of photos from Mom's WWII album
Ralph was one of Dad's Army buddies and our two families continued to visit throughout my childhood. Martha and Ralph had three boys, all a bit older than me. And I have liked boys pretty much my whole life. Definitely interested in Martha and Ralph's boys by the time I was 5, when we drove up to New Hampshire to visit them.
I remember many details of the trip very clearly. The motel (and motels were a brand new thing then) with individual tiny cottages instead of rooms. The summertime ski lift ride up the mountain. Those boys and their active outdoor life focused around mud and small animals.
I have no idea who this baby is. Must have been a friend of Mom, not family.
The next 4 photos are labeled Maga Vista 1941
And that's where the album ends. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoyed it.
